Iran-Armenia film ‘Yeva’ directed by Anahid Abad has been scheduled to go on screen at the 12th Pomegranate Film Festival held in Canada.

Iran-Armenia film ‘Yeva’ directed by Anahid Abad has been scheduled to go on screen at the 12th Pomegranate Film Festival held in Canada.

The 99-minute long film is scheduled to go on screen at the last day of the festival on November 19, 2017.

Farabi Cinema Foundation based in Iran is to represent worldwide rights for the movie by Anahid Abad, the film's producer told the media previously.

The flick stars many recognized actors and actresses from Armenia such as Narine Grigoryan and Shant Hovhannisyan. The movie is also set to apply for a slot at the latest edition of Cannes Film Festival.

‘Yeva’, a woman who is under prosecution in connection with her husband’s murder, faces challenges in her life, the movie synopsis read.

The 12th edition of Pomegranate Film Festival will be held November 15-19, 2017 in the Canadian city of Toronto.
